Mark Schapiro is an award-winning investigative journalist specializing in the environment. His most recent book, SEEDS OF RESISTANCE: The Fight for Food Diversity on our Climate-Ravaged Planet, a journey in search of the seeds capable of resilience to climate change and the struggle with agri-chemical companies to control them, has recently been updated and published in paperback. He is a Lecturer at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, teaching climate and environmental journalism.
